OpenField Arts Festival is looking for new artist projects to be a part of our 2027 program.

OpenField is an interdisciplinary contemporary art festival that occurs in Berry every two years, across multiple indoor and outdoor venues.

The next festival is on 25–27 June 2027, and our curatorial theme is ‘Heads in the Clouds’.

We are especially on the lookout for the following:

• Large-scale outdoor sculptures that have a high visual impact

• Outdoor works with simple installation requirements

• Works that speak to our curatorial theme - ‘Head in the Clouds’

• Works that are playful, engaging and encourage audience interaction

OpenField will also include a Local's Salon group exhibition with artworks of all types for sale. Calls for participation in the Salon will occur separately to this Expression of Interest, in early 2027.

We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation and main program artists are paid a participation fee.

Please send a one-page Expression of Interest to: info@openfield.org.au
outlining your project / artwork and include any pictures or sketches, social media or website links and a brief artist’s bio.

Applications close: 30 November 2026 (COB).
