Alternate printmaking workshop
Join Penny Craig for a unique intaglio printmaking workshop in response to Berry Public School’s 'We Are Watching' project, which highlights children’s awareness of adult actions toward the climate and their future. Participants will use upcycled materials to etch visual messages onto old CDs and DVDs—symbolising eyes—and print them onto paper using a pasta maker and washing mangle.

Drink n Draw

Wind down from the festival excitement and have a drink whilst trying your hand at figure drawing of burlesque icon and model Bella Louche as she strikes poses at the Great Southern Hotel.

Scrub Collective and Climate Writers - The Letter House

Join the Scrub Collective for a Nature Banners Project: Felt your way to plant poetics. The Scrub Collective invites you to create nature banners for the streets of Berry. This is a participatory workshops that will happen through the festival.

Scrub Collective is also hosting the Climate Writers at The Letter House to learn practical techniques for crafting compelling letters to politicians that advocate for meaningful climate action.

First Nations Hub - Stories Skins and Songs

Join Amanda Jane Reynolds, Amethyst Downing and Aunty Lila Stuart for weaving, yarning and a participatory skin project. These are drop-in, family-friendly activity. No bookings required. Handmade arts, crafts, bush-healings and bush-tukka stall - items can be purchased.

Kids Workshop: Wise Stories & Woven Place
Drop your kids off to Green Mountain Nature Play for a two-hour adventure in bushcraft and storytelling that invites young people to connect deeply with place and belonging.

(Age: 4-14 years. This is an educator-supervised child-only activity. Please drop your children off and pick them up at the end).

Alice McAuliffe - Concrete Carpet


Join artist Alice McAuliffe to make your own chalk 'Concrete Carpet' in an art-making workshop on the Alexandra street footpath, opposite the Berry School of Arts (next to the ducks).
